New Day Training Center

A Permanent Home for Mental Health

New Day Training Center is the nonprofit arm of New Day, created to expand access to high-quality, trauma-informed mental health care while strengthening the next generation of clinicians.

We believe healing should be accessible — not exclusive.

“New Day Family Counseling Center exists to provide accessible, high-quality mental health care rooted in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centered practices. We create safe, supportive environments where individuals, children, and families—especially those in underserved and low-income communities—can heal, grow, and thrive.”

Who We Are

New Day Training Center exists to provide accessible, high-quality mental health care rooted in:

  • Trauma-informed practice
  • Culturally responsive care
  • Client-centered treatment
  • Ethical clinical supervision

We create safe, supportive environments where individuals, children, and families — especially those in underserved and low-income communities — can heal, grow, and thrive.

Why We Exist

Across our region, access to mental health services remains limited. Long waitlists, financial barriers, and workforce shortages prevent many from receiving the support they deserve.

Our nonprofit was created to address that gap by:

  • Expanding affordable and grant-supported services
  • Training and supervising emerging clinicians
  • Investing in sustainable, community-rooted care
  • Building long-term mental health infrastructure

When clinicians are supported, communities are supported.

Our Impact Areas

Workforce Development

We invest in the training and supervision of associate therapists and trainees, strengthening the local mental health workforce.

Access to Care

Through grants, partnerships, and community support, we work to reduce financial barriers to therapy services.

Community Stability

We are building a permanent, welcoming facility that ensures long-term access to mental health support.

Our Vision

A community where:

  • Children have early access to support
  • Families can receive care without financial fear
  • Clinicians are trained and retained locally
  • Mental health is treated as essential healthcare
